Tried signing up on the Euro Millions app, but the transaction didn’t go through properly. After that, I got a bunch of calls - about four in total - and even a voicemail, but couldn’t get back to them. The voicemail sounded cut off, so I didn’t bother replying. Honestly, I’m still unsure if it was some kind of scam or not.

I got a call from this number but didn’t pick up straight away, figured I’d see who it was first. They ended up leaving a voicemail that was an automated message saying my payment had been declined. This is a real Halifax scam call. I got a text asking if I’d tried to make a payment, I replied no, then immediately got another text saying they’d call me because my card was blocked. I didn’t pick up as I was working, but later when I tried to buy some stuff my card was declined. So I called the number back and it was the fraud team, they’ve now sent me a replacement card.

This is a REAL Halifax Fraud Call, folks. I figured it was a scam, so I didnt pick up, then got a message asking if I’d made a payment for some transaction.
