I missed the call but confirmed with the bank directly and called back using their official app. If this number rings you, it means your card/account has probably been hit by scammers, so don't just brush it off. Halifax seems to be spotting these fraud attempts well.

Got a call and a voicemail saying my card was used in a fraud and I should call this number back. I rang my bank using the app and they said nobody from their fraud team had contacted me. Watch out, folks.

I received three phone calls today where the person had my mother's full name. My mother, who is 71 years old, might be easily tricked and could become upset due to these calls.

03330459570 is a legit number from Halifax’s fraud team. I even checked with Halifax on Twitter through direct message, and they confirmed it’s genuine.

Got a call from someone claiming my wife's card was involved in some dodgy activity, then they start asking for personal details. Suspicious much?

This number has rang me a few times today and left a voicemail too. I didn’t pick up or reply to the message. I decided to ring Halifax using a number I know’s legit to check if it was them trying to get hold of me and if they’d use this number. They told me straight up this isn’t their number and they haven’t been trying to reach me. So anyone on here saying it’s legit is probably a scammer trying to trick you!

This really was a proper call from the fraud department at Halifax. They said they were the ones who rang from this number. Afterwards, they sent me a text as well. I didn’t give any personal info on the automated message since I wasn’t certain. Hope this clears things up.
