Got two calls today from a robotic voice, they said my son’s full name and claimed there was suspicious activity on his Lloyds Bank debit card. They asked to press buttons if we were there, so I hit 2 for no. My son wasn’t home, so I rang him to warn him. Then I got a second call, same deal, asked for another contact number so I gave his mobile. Checked it here and it said probably a scam. Just rang Lloyds using the number on my son’s card and told him to call them to check his account. Proper scary stuff.

This number said they were from Lloyd's bank fraud dept, gave my full name and told me to ring them back on a landline hardly anyone has. I also got a text on my mobile about a particular store transaction with the time that had been blocked, asking if it was me and showed last 4 digits of my card, which it was, so I replied ‘yes, that was me’. Didn’t phone the number but seems legit.

Actually got a call from Lloyds bank. I loged in online first to check and noticed a payment for Netflix I didn’t recognise. Instead of ringing back on the number they gave, I went straight to my local branch, and turns out there had been multiple tries to use my card over the past few hours. They sorted it quickly, blocked everything and cancelled the card. I know some ppl might reckon this could be fake or part of a scam, but I swear it’s legit. If you get a call from this number, don’t ignore it - get in touch with your bank straight away. Lucky Lloyds were sharp about it.

This number rang me twice today. I missed the first call, but they rang again claiming there had been unusual activity on my debit card and asked me to give my birth date to verify who I was. I got suspicious and rang Lloyds using the fraud contact found in their banking app. The person on the line wouldn’t say if that number belonged to Lloyds, but did say there were no logs of the bank trying to get in touch with me.

Called back a legit Lloyds number after I got a call, but I wasn’t totally sure if it was a scam cos it happened just after I’d ordered food online. Spent a good while on the phone with Lloyds using the number on my card, and finally got someone who confirmed it was really them.
