Loads of folks are claiming it’s a scam without even picking up the phone. I received a text saying 61p had been taken from my account and asking me to reply YES or NO if it was mine. Then this same number called me, but I didn’t answer. When I looked it up online, this site popped up. I got in touch with Lloyds through my banking app and they confirmed it was definitely them. The number is legit and they were just verifying a payment I hadn’t made previously.

This mornin I got an email sayin my card was used but I hadn’t used it at all, I even checked my PayPal for any strange activity. Then, my home phone started ringin non-stop. I can’t really pick up ‘cause I got no voicemail, so every time I answer I just hang up after a while. It’s happened like three times now. I’ve blocked the number on my mobile but they keep callin’ my landline. So annoying!

This number kept ringing both my mobile and my landline, even though the landline is unlisted. I called up Lloyds fraud department just to be safe, and they found no weird activity on any of my accounts. They told me to just ignore and hang up if the calls come again on either phone, and to delete any texts received. I've gone ahead and blocked the number on both my mobile and landline now. They’ve been really relentless, as I’ve gotten quite a few calls from them today alone. Fingers crossed the blocking sorts it out.

Got an message saying I’d approved a payment to someone called Frans for £00.00😡. It seemed dodgy right away so Lloyds have put a hold on it until it’s sorted. The text said to press YES to confirm or NO to cancel, so I went with NO🤔. I then got a call straight away but ignored it because it felt off. Left a voicemail and noted the number down, then looked it up and it’s not a good one. They somehow had my name and the last four digits of my card. They rang twice more but I’ve since blocked the number. Really suspicious!

Four payments were taken from my bank account, all linked to Apple.com/BILIE - three at £9.99 and one for 99p, totalling around £31. Afterwards, I got a message from +447401176506 claiming to be Lloyds Bank, saying they’d spotted those charges and to reply YES or NO if I’d authorised them. I replied ‘NO’ straight away. Soon after, I got a call from 0333 045 9563, again pretending to be Lloyds, asking for my birthday and the security code on my card. I hung up immediately as it was clearly a scam.

This is a real number often used by Lloyds Banking Group. If you're a customer, don’t just block or ignore calls from here straight away. However, you can never be sure who’s actually ringing you because scammers can clone phone numbers from any bank. Totally agree with what others have said here. Just because a call turns out to be a scam, doesn’t mean the phone number itself is dodgy. Scammers faking real company numbers is a big issue for both the firms and customers. The government really needs to step in and sort this mess out soon.

I got 4 calls altogether from someone claiming to be Lloyds bank. They said my name and told me there was suspicious activity on my card, asking me to press any key or call a certain number. I ignored the first two calls but after the third I ended the call and then called Lloyds myself on a number I knew. Just as I thought, Lloyds said it was a scam. Really scary because they knew my name and I nearly got tricked.

Got a call from someone who said they were from Lloyds, saying there was some weird activity on my account like a withdrawal I didn’t make. They warned me they’d stop all my payments if I didn’t call back. I’ve since blocked the number. Definitely feels like a scam trying to get my bank info.

My daughter was out when she got a call on her mobile, and at the exact moment, I got one on our landline from someone saying they were from Lloyds bank about a strange transaction! They wanted her to call back. Fortunately, she’s quite savvy, so we rang the number we already had for Lloyds bank fraud team and reported it. We cancelled her cards straight away! Just a heads up to be cautious out there.

Just rang on both my landline and my mobile after rejecting one number and blocking another dodgy one. This number phoned me twice on my mobile then left a voicemail on my landline, saying my full name (first, middle and last) in a robotic voice claiming to be from Lloyds bank. This is definitely a scam and pretty dangerous, I haven’t seen anything this bad for ages. I really hope the authorities nab these people. They seem connected to the 07480788955 number and it’s strange they tried calling again straight after I blocked and reported them.

03330459563 I was trying to buy something online and entered all my payment info, but then got a message saying the payment was declined. My bank said they spotted something fishy and blocked it. They were right! I never approved that charge. Then this number 03330459563 actually rang me pretending to be the bank, telling me to call back. I never dialled that number, definitely a scam.

Got a prerecorded call with my correct personal info, saying a payment I was waiting for got declined. They told me to press 1 to speak to someone, then I just hung up. They kept calling me on both my home phone and my mobile, so I had to block the number. Anyone saying this is legit are probably scammers themselves, so don’t trust those comments.

Totally a scam! Someone pretending to be from Lloyds Fraud Prevention saying there’s odd activity on your account. Best to just ignore it and ring Lloyds directly using the app or their official site if you wanna check.

The caller claimed to be from Lloyds Bank. I double-checked by phoning my bank using their official app. Looks like it’s a scam since there was no warning about any suspicious activity on my account. Normally, Lloyds just sends a text if they spot anything unusual, not a phone call.

Got a voicemail from Lloyds fraud team, it was an automated message saying I should get back to them. 03330459563 called me after i added credit to my phone using my bank card. I got a message saying Lloyds Bank would call me because my card was supposedly declined. But the payment actually went through fine and my phone was topped up. When this number rang, I didnt pick up, and now I reckon it wasnt really the bank ringing but some scam trying to grab my info.
