BEWARE OF THIS SCAM - under no circumstances should you engage, don’t press 1, and certainly do not return their calls! You have nothing to fear regarding any legal repercussions for ignoring their irritating attempts to reach you. They masquerade as HMRC officials, making empty threats of imminent arrest over imaginary tax debts unless you part with cash straight away! These con artists are highly manipulative and often use intimidation to fleece unsuspecting individuals, particularly targeting the more vulnerable in our communities. Sadly, some elderly folks have already fallen prey to their deceitful schemes. Stay safe and don’t be fooled!
