BEWARE, it's a nasty scam - don’t pick up, definitely don’t hit 1 or ring them back. There’s no trouble coming your way if you just ignore their annoying calls. They act like they’re from HMRC, trying to frighten you with threats about arrest if you haven’t paid some fake taxes right away! These scammers are ruthless, using fear to trick people into handing over cash, and sadly, lots of older folks have fallen for their tricks.
