I'm 71 and on a state pension. I hit 1 when they called, and then the call just dropped. I saved the number - pretty sure it's one of those scam calls.

This is definitely a scam, just a heads up.

I picked up and got a recorded voice saying something like, “you’ve got a fraud case filed with hmrc. press 1 right away or they’ll put out an arrest warrant for you.” Just a load of rubbish so i ended the call straight away.

Just got a call like that myself. I trusted my gut and ended the call straight away, then blocked the number and reported it. Honestly, nobody should reach out to people that way, it’s really not on.

Received a rather alarming automated message from this number, 0300 200 3386, claiming to be from HM Revenue and urging me to press certain keys on my phone, otherwise I'd supposedly face arrest. Of course, I ignored it and didn’t succumb to their threats.

Got a call from 0300 200 3386, someone claiming it's hmrc about a warrant and said press 1 to sort it out. I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. It’s a total scam, especially since I’m retired and they wouldnt use a new number like this to call me. Definitely just ignore these calls.

Lately I've been getting calls from numbers like 3372, 3373 and now 3386. From what I've read around, it's some sort of scam linked to tax fraud. I haven't picked up any of these calls and I’m not planning to either!

I got a call saying something about my taxes and that I’d be arrested soon if I didn’t get in touch with them. Honestly, I’m not stressed at all since my company sorts my tax and has lawyers looking after it too. Definitely felt like a dodgy call to me.

I got a robocall telling me to press 1 to speak with the HMRC fraud team. Once I pressed 1, some bloke with an Indian accent answered and said he was from HMRC, asking for my name and details. The phone tone sounded foreign, definitely not like a UK government line. When I asked for a number to call back on, he told me I’d better give him the info or they’d issue an arrest warrant. That’s not how HMRC works at all. I asked again for a callback number but he got rude and then just hung up on me. Definitely a scam.

Someone said they were from HMRE, which sounds wrong to me. HMRE wouldn’t call you using any kind of automated system, I’m pretty sure about that.

Got a call from this number real early when I finally picked up it was some robot voice claiming to be from HMRC’s tax fraud team. It kept saying I needed to press 1 or else I’d face legal action and get an arrest warrant. Sounds totally dodgy to me, so I just hung up straight away. I’m just a full-time mum at home, don’t even pay tax nor have done anything shady. It started ringing after I took part in a phone contest this morning, so be careful folks!
