This certainly doesn't seem like the sort of protocol you'd expect from HMRC officials, who usually introduce themselves properly. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

CAUTION! A SCAM ALERT - steer clear of this number! Refrain from answering, don’t engage by pressing 1, and certainly don’t bother returning their call. There’s absolutely no legal fallout for disregarding their irritating, fearmongering messages. The callers impersonate officials from HMRC, trying to bully you with threats of imminent arrest for bogus tax dues, demanding immediate payment! They're nothing but ruthless criminals employing intimidation to fleece unsuspecting individuals, and tragically, they’ve already targeted several vulnerable elderly folks. Stay wise and avoid their traps!

I just received a rather alarming phone call from these individuals stating that there’s an arrest warrant out for me due to tax evasion. Blimey, it rattled me to my core! As someone who's already battled through heart issues and a stroke, it was a rather distressing experience to say the least. How outrageous!

I received a phone call earlier today, during which an automated voice informed me that there had been a report against me for tax evasion. It prompted me to press 1 for further details, which I did, but just like that, the line went dead.

I received a call from them just now as well. They’re an absolute headache! Honestly, they ought to be put behind bars.
