Put them through to someone and say you’re fine with getting the warrant. Ask which local police station you should visit. They usually end the call pretty quick after that.

I called up HMRC and they told me loads of people have been reporting these calls. The person I spoke to made a note of it and warned me not to pick up when these numbers try, as HMRC wouldn’t ever call like that.

TOTAL SCAM! You first get some robotic, hard-to-understand message then they connect you with a so-called 'case officer'. They try threatening you about arrest warrants and supposed tax fraud linked to your name. DO NOT share any personal info with these crooks! They collect, trade, and sell anything you give them to other scammers. It’s very rare anyone gets a prior warning about an arrest warrant, so be really cautious!
