03002002347 I got a call from this number and heard a recorded voice claiming it was HMRC, warning about some tax fraud linked to me. It didn’t feel right at all, so I ended the call straight away. I then looked up the number online to see if it was legit.

Got a call from 0300 200 3347 pretending to be HMRC. They said there was an issue with my taxes and told me to press 1 to fix it. They threatened that if I didn’t, they’d put out a warrant for my arrest right away and that I’d be caught soon after. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from 03002003347 claiming to be from tax credits, but it’s definitely a scam. Don’t trust them, just block the number!

Yesterday morning, I got a call from some bloke saying I should hit 1 to speak with an operator about a fraud case against me and a warrant for my arrest. I freaked out and pressed 1, then an Asian woman came on and told me I’m guilty of tax fraud and the police will come after me unless I pay up. I asked why I hadn’t had any official letter about it, and she got annoyed saying I had to pay straight away and they didn’t have to send anything by post. When I mentioned I thought it sounded like a scam, she just hung up on me!

Just a heads up, HMRC would never ring you like this no matter what. Best thing to do is just end the call immediately. If you’re really not sure, call the official number on their website yourself. This is a textbook scam. Seriously, hang up, block the number, and report it! Don’t waste your time on these muppets!!

Received a call from 03002003354 about 5:30 pm, supposedly from HMRC but it was an automated voice. It told me to press 1 or I'd get an arrest warrant. I pressed 1 and then an Asian man picked up and asked why I’d called. He wanted my name and address, which I gave. After that, he said he’d ring me back the next day. Definitely sounded dodgy.

Today I got a call about 10:18 and they told me to go to the bank and take out cash. They claimed to be from HMRC and warned me I'd have an arrest warrant unless I paid up. At first, I nearly fell for it since they sounded so genuine, but once they kept asking for my location and pushed me to go to the bank, I knew something was off and just ended the call.

Had a call from 03002003347 too, someone saying they were from HMRC and accusing me of some fraud. They threatened to issue an arrest warrant if I didn’t connect straight away. I just ended the call, but it freaked me out enough to ring up HMRC myself. They told me the number isn’t linked to them at all. What's scary is the number starts with the same digits as HMRC’s official numbers, so it’s a really sneaky scam.

I answered the call and as soon as I did, they just hung up straight away... so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Everyone reckon it's a scam, but how on earth do they get our numbers? Someone must be handing them over, right? I mean, shouldn't those people be held accountable or at least asked for an explanation?

Had a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC saying there’s a warrant out for me. Proper dodgy bloke, couldn’t keep his story straight when I didn’t play along with his little script. Total waste of time.

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC about a tax fraud warrant, telling me to press 1 or I’d be arrested. It caught me off guard a bit since I’d just been on the actual HMRC site. I knew it was dodgy, but working in CyberSecurity made me curious about their methods, so I went ahead and pressed 1. The call just dropped straight away.

03002003347 Got a call from this number, sounded just like the one before. HMRC don’t get in touch like that, so if you’re not certain, just end the call and ring up HMRC directly instead of pressing 1.

Got a call from someone saying they were with HMRC, saying there was a tax fraud warrant out for me. They told me to press 1 immediately or I’d be arrested soon. I’ve got no tax problems and I know HMRC would never ring like this. It’s obviously meant to scare people into pressing 1 and probably taking their money. Don’t fall for it!

Someone called saying I owed money and needed to pay right away. They said if I didn’t, they’d get a court order and the Police would come and arrest me. It’s a total scam, just ignore it and don’t bother with them.

Got a call from HMRC, seemed a bit sketchy. First it was a robot telling me to press 1, then they started saying I owed them 3 grand. Proper dodgy behaviour.

Got a call from some supposed HMRC automated voice, saying I had to press 1 or I’d face arrest. They didn’t say who they were or give any contact details. Oddly, my missus had been chatting to HMRC about benefits just a few minutes earlier. Don’t want to make assumptions tho. I pressed 1, and it just cut out with a “Goodbye” message. I immediately checked my phone credit - all still there, no money taken. What a rubbish scam. Best just ignore and block it right away.

Got a call from this number the other day, didn’t pick up though. From what I’ve seen online, it’s probably one of those HMRC scam calls. Honestly, it’s safer to just block it. HMRC wouldn’t ring you like that, no way.
