Just got a call saying I was under investigation for tax fraud - supposed to press 1 or else. At first, I was gonna listen but then I thought nah, I don’t earn enough for tax charges, so it’s obviously a scam. I reckon if you press 1, it might end up costing you loads in call fees. Definitely be careful with elderly family members, this sort of call could freak them out and they might accidentally hit 1.
