This number rang me earlier and it was one of those automated messages. It claimed to be from HMRC and said I was under investigation for fraud or something, then told me to press 1 to deal with it. They even warned I'd be arrested soon if I didn’t. I just hung up straight away.

Today, I got a call from 0300 200 3337 too. The person on the line was claiming I was involved in tax fraud with HM Revenue and threatening me to settle £2200 outside of court. They said if I didn't pay that amount, I'd end up owing even more and could be arrested within 45 minutes. I ended the call straight away and reported it to the police. Just a warning to everyone, be careful with calls like this.
