It’s becoming rather vexing, and we’re at a loss on how to put an end to these persistent calls! Is there anyone out there who might have some advice or assistance to offer?

We recently gave this number a bell and were greeted by an automated voice saying: "Hello, you've reached Egg. Cheers for calling. Sadly, we’re currently shut. Please get in touch again on 01332 633 827 during our hours of 8am to 9pm from Tuesday to Friday, and 9am to 6pm on Saturday." However, upon dialling the second number, we were met with a very similar message: "Thank you for reaching out to my Collections Team. However, I'm afraid my offices are also closed. My hours are precisely the same as the previous number." Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

We've let them know that we will settle the payment shortly, and the collections team assured us that this was acceptable and that a note would be made in their system. Yet, we’re still getting calls five times a day!

Indeed, we keep receiving these calls out of the blue. It’s quite baffling since we don’t even possess an egg card! It’s become a right nuisance, with them ringing us four or five times daily! Perhaps it's time to consider getting a fresh SIM card for anyone who hasn’t had any association with such cards or credit? Just a thought! :)

It’s a complete nuisance with these calls from Egg. We’ve got a strict policy of ignoring any withheld numbers or ones not saved in our contacts. At the moment, I’m dealing with a bankruptcy situation, and until we acquire our reference number from the court, we’re simply not in a position to respond. Honestly, they can just leave us be! We've verified that everything's been sorted on our end, but the moment we do try to get in touch, they assure us that the calls will cease now that our account is current. It seems to us they’re just keen to verify their records before they decide to stop harassing us. We’ve made that abundantly clear! What a right nuisance! Pah, don’t waste your time!
