Classic accident claim scam here. The caller speaks really broken English, there’s a big lag when they’re talking (makes me think they’re based somewhere in Asia) and they quickly jump into talking about a crash that supposedly took place in the past couple years.

They claimed to be from some Accident Assistance service, talking about an incident in the past couple of years. Wouldn’t really respond to anything I asked. Had an Indian or Asian accent. I just ended the call.

i had to say 'hello' quite a few times before some foreign bloke said he was with an accident management firm. he asked how i was doin, i told him i'd be in a better mood if i weren't talkin to him and then i just ended the call.

He mumbled his name and the company but then claimed I’d been in an accident. I said I hadn’t, and he said it was just a minor rear-end collision. I told him I don’t own a car, don’t drive, and have never been in an accident. He kept going anyway, so I ended up hanging up and blocked the number. Normally, I don’t pick up unknown calls, but I was waiting for a call from my electricity provider, so I had to be ready for any calls today.
