On 09/01/21, I got a call from some bloke named Ali who had that typical noisy call centre background - you can always tell it’s dodgy. He just shouted at me, ‘do me a favour,’ which felt like a total scam straight away. The accent sounded Indian, like others have said too.

I had a hard time making out the callers Asian accent, it was really difficult. It's unbelievable these muppets still reckon their scam will fool anyone in 2021! Bet it’s so annoying for them, spending hours on the phone and only occasionally snagging some clueless or elderly person. Honestly, the folks behind these calls deserve to catch covid, I seriously hope they do.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent trying to talk about claims management, but the background was clearly a noisy call centre. Definitely sounded a bit dodgy.

Got a call from an Indian man claiming he found my number through some road traffic dept. I told him my number is on the TPS list but he just didn’t care and carried on. When I asked him which company he was with, he got a bit moody. In the end, I decided to block the number.

Someone rang me claiming to be from Aviva, saying they were the other insurance firm tied up in my crash. When I told them everything was already sorted and asked why they were ringing, they accused me of being rude just because I didn’t want to talk. Then, they had the nerve to ring back again after I asked them to send stuff in writing, since they obviously have my info if they’re the other insurer. They got proper grumpy when I said it felt like a scam.
