Got a call from an 0800 number I didn’t recognise, didn’t pick up, no voicemail or anything. Decided to check it out online and found a bunch of websites saying it’s an insurance scam.

I just got a call from 150, showed up as a possible scam so I didnt pick up and blocked the number straight away.

Some bloke claiming to be from National Claims Line (never came across them before) was asking me about an accident I’ve never been involved in. When I started cussing at him, he hung up abruptly - what a cheek! He could’ve at least let me finish my rant. Blocked the number straight away.

The caller was really hard to understand, and even after asking a couple of times what company he was representing, I still couldn't make it out. Then he started with the whole "you've been in an accident" spiel. I tried asking who he worked for one more time, and then he just ended the call.

I saw the missed call but didn’t pick up since I didn’t know the number. Later, I checked the voicemail and it was just noise, but you could hear a hectic call centre in the background with loads of people talking in different accents, probably somewhere in India.

So this company ringing me up, said they were from some Claims Management place working with the Motor Insurance Bureau or whatever. Ended up having a 4-minute chat which was more of a bit of a debate for my own enjoyment. Now I’ve shared the whole thing on Facebook. Proper good fun that! :)

I got a call from some number about an "accident" and they wanted me to confirm my details, but never said which firm they were with. The call was choppy and sounded like it was from a busy call centre, just like others have said before. I’ve gone ahead and reported it to the ICO now.

Got a call from some claims management firm, number came up on auto dial. The line was really bad, like one of those busy call centres in India. The person spoke good English but had a strong Indian accent, which made it sound less professional to me. It felt like spam to be honest.
