Just got a dodgy call claiming there were 3 suspicious charges on my card - over £200 at J D Williams, £500+ at J D Sports, and a £12.75 charge from Deliveroo. They said all these were made in Scotland and even read out the last four digits of my card. I asked them, "Hang on, what’s the latest transaction recorded by HSBC on my card?" - and that was the moment they hung up! Bit suspicious, eh? Must've run out of energy or got caught out! I quickly phoned my bank from a different line and reported it as a scam attempt. Already ordered a replacement card to be safe.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from HSBC, but when I challenged him, he suddenly brought in a guy who claimed to be his manager. This "manager" admitted they were Nigerian scammers and told me to just hand over my money to his colleague. The original caller got so annoyed with me calling them out that he hung up on me, swearing. Proper scam alert!

Got a call from someone saying he was from HSBC, but it quickly felt fishy. When I questioned him, he put on another guy claiming to be his manager. This "manager" pretty much admitted he was Nigerian and trying to scam me, telling me to just hand over my cash to the worker. The bloke on the line got mad when I called them out and ended up swearing at me before hanging up. Proper dodgy!

Looks like this number is nearly the same as the one Action Fraud uses, which is 03457 404 404. Just thought I'd point that out.

I got a call from a number almost like Action Fraud’s, but it turned out to be a total scam. They were trying to freak me out about some fake crime and wanted my personal details. Luckily, I didn’t fall for it and just hung up. Be careful if you get calls from numbers that look familiar, they might be tricksters pretending to be legit.

I got a call from a number that looked almost like Action Fraud's - at first I thought it was legit. But when I answered, the person tried to get personal info from me, definitely a scam. Watch out for these sneaky calls that mimic official numbers!

Got a call at 11:40 pm supposedly from Santander about a dodgy direct debit. I told them I’d ring back during the day, but they kept pushing me to sort it out immediately, saying the bank wouldn’t cover any money lost otherwise. In the end, I used a legitimate number to call my bank and now I’m waiting to get it all cleared up.

I got a really odd call, they were asking about my bank details right after I'd fallen for a scam. It just felt off, so I cut the call. Looks like I managed to avoid getting scammed again.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Nationwide Security, said there were several new direct debits set up on my account. I told them I'd look into it on my own and ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Someone rang me pretending to be from my bank. Just the week before, I’d been tricked by a phishing email that said it was from DPD. This caller told me there’d been a purchase in Scotland for £75.99 on my card. They asked if I had internet banking and roughly how much money was in my account. Seemed really polite at first, but when I said I had thousands in there, they suddenly lost it and started cursing at me. Bit of a shock!

I got a call from someone saying they were with HSBC. They told me there were a few transactions on my account they wanted to check. Then they offered to switch me to a Premier account, supposed to be more secure. But they said I’d have to put in £500 to get the new account started. Seemed a bit fishy to me.
