03002003351 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03002003351 👆 is reported as a persistent HMRC-related scam originating from numbers beginning with a familiar local dialling code. Callers use pre-recorded American or Indian-accented voices falsely claiming tax fraud and threatening arrest to intimidate recipients into pressing buttons or divulging personal details. Multiple reports highlight the calls are automated, often silent or disconnected if answered, and feature name-dropping to appear credible. Targets are advised not to press any numbers or share information, as genuine HMRC does not make such calls. Blocking repeatedly used number variants is common but does not fully prevent calls. This scam poses a significant risk, particularly to vulnerable individuals, and has been repeatedly flagged to authorities yet continues unabated. Vigilance and ignoring these calls remain the best defence.

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I was gonna be arrested for tax fraud. Total scam!

Just got a phone call from 03002002501 claiming to be HMRC saying I’ve done tax fraud and I’m about to be arrested, haha! I guess folks my age see straight through this nonsense, but I can imagine older people getting really stressed by it. Really, these scam calls need to be stopped completely. Sure, we can block them, but why should we need to take care of it ourselves? Nobody should be allowed to bother us with such rubbish. I also get those accident insurance ones all the time - usually tell them I’m already dead and they hang up right away, which is quite funny!

I just keep putting the block on those 0300 200 calls every time they pop up. I’ve already blocked 4099, 8081, 2633 and 4810 - they call me like twice a day from different numbers. Proper annoying. Looks like I’ll be adding more to this growing list!!!

They always start with the same first few digits, saying they’re from HMRC. I was 100% sure it was a scam again. This is like the sixth time they’ve rung me, just switching up the last 4-6 digits each time!

Like I mentioned before, there’s this American-sounding automated voice on the phone pretending to be from HMRC. Seriously, don’t hit 1 when they ask. The calls always come from numbers starting with 0300200 and then end with either 3351, 3333, 3639, or 3319. I’ve already sent all the info over to the phishing email at HMRC.

These scammers are unbelievable! Got called 3 times in just one hour by the same American woman's voice pretending to be from HMRC. Honestly, with all the tech we got nowadays, how are they still getting away with this? So frustrating! 🤬

They kept ringing me over a few days. When I picked up at last, there was silence for a bit then they just hung up. After reading other reviews, I’m pretty sure this is really risky stuff.

Got a call this morning with a recorded message from an American female voice, though the start was cut off. She claimed there was a warrant for my arrest from HMRC and told me to press 1 to talk to an officer. Absolutely no way I pressed anything! This was on 06/02/2019. A few weeks back I also got a text saying I needed to contact HMRC, which I just ignored. Seems like scams are getting more cheeky.

I got a call from 03002003351 saying HMRC had supposedly issued a warrant for my arrest. I just ended the call straight away, figured it was a scam. This kind of thing must be really stressful for others though. How on earth do these scammers keep getting away with this?

0300 200 3351 - I've been getting loads of calls from this number and similar ones every day recently. Like many others, it’s a total scam, some automated US voice pretending to be from HMRC. I never pick up but they keep leaving irritating voicemails. Had to block a bunch of numbers, like 0300 200 3333, 0300 200 3331 & 0300 123 2323. How is this even allowed to happen?! It’s terrifying to think what might happen if an elderly person answered. Completely shocking behaviour!

I just looked up this number. It’s from Delhi, India: +91 - 11 - 3002003351. Country code is 91, region is Delhi. The area code 11 covers places like Karawal Nagar, Kirari Suleman Nagar and others in Delhi. This is all in the capital city, New Delhi.

Got a call from some lady saying she was Sara Newman, but her accent was so thick, definitely sounded Indian, not like she claimed from customs. She tried to scam me for £650, telling me to buy iTunes vouchers and read her the codes. Luckily, I spotted her dodgy act early enough. The nerve she had to ring me up like that! To anyone who's been caught out by scammers like her, hang tight, they won’t get away with it forever.

Upon picking up the call, I was met with a pre-recorded message informing me that I was under investigation for tax evasion and instructed to press 1. I was so taken aback that I opted not to respond. Could this really be a legitimate call from HMRC?

Had the same happen today on my home phone, but this time it was an automated American bloke (yesterday it was a woman on my mobile). They said I’d be arrested if I didn’t cooperate. I didn’t press any buttons and blocked the number right away. Definitely a scam. Was kinda tempted to claim I was the Police just to mess with them, but didn’t. It’s shocking that these dodgy calls keep getting through.

Definitely NOT HMRC. Got a call from some American sounding computer voice transferring me to a woman with an Indian accent called Christina. She asked me to verify my name and address. She accidentally mentioned my real name, so they must have some info on me already. I said nothing, and next thing she’s threatening to get the police involved. Honestly, it couldn't have been a more obvious scam if they really tried.

I had the same thing, a US-style robot voice first, then an Indian lady came on. I wasn’t comfortable talking about my taxes with someone abroad, so I just hung up and called back. When I dialled HMRC directly, I got through to them for real - it’s a genuine number linked to tax credits. HMRC know these scammers are out there and they’re working on stopping them. They made it clear it’s a scam since they never ring people out of the blue. Their advice was to just hang up straight away and never share any details.
