02030639321 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02030639321 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving callers falsely claiming to represent the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Callers, often with foreign or Asian accents, attempt to gain personal and bank details by pretending to verify or update registration for stopping unwanted marketing calls. Many report aggressive, rude, and harassing behaviour, including repeated calls and insistence on sensitive information. Despite callers sometimes knowing personal data such as names, addresses, and payment methods, no genuine TPS activity involves requesting bank or debit card details. Users strongly caution against engagement, urging to hang up immediately to avoid falling victim to potential fraud or harassment. The issue is widespread, targeting vulnerable individuals and raising serious concerns about safety and data security.

So, I got a call from a woman who claimed she was with the telephone preference service. She asked if I was still receiving marketing calls and then said I had to re-register. She told me to confirm my direct debit info for my phone provider to get it sorted. When I told her I wasn’t sharing that, she then tried saying the number on my cheque book would work instead. I just said no thanks and she ended up hanging up on me.

Got a call from some Asian woman claiming to be from the TPS, saying she needed to update my debit card info to sort out my phone bill payments. It was a right laugh, but honestly just annoyed me more than anything. The TPS doesn’t handle direct debits, and my direct debit stuff isn’t linked to my card details anyway. Total waste of time!

someone with an accent that sounded foreign, maybe Indian, called me. They said they could help stop those annoying telemarketing calls. weirdly, they already knew my name, where I lived, and even the expiry dates on my bank cards. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Some bloke named Barry Jones, said he was a supervisor, got back to me after I slammed the phone down on his colleague. They were trying to get my bank info, claiming it was for some TOS service registration number - complete rubbish. Honestly, if these muppets ring you, just cut them off immediately, it’s a proper scam.

I've received two rather unpleasant phone calls from the Telephone Preference Service that were astonishingly rude. During the first call, the operative had the audacity to call me a liar, and to make matters worse, the so-called supervisor joined in with a barrage of inappropriate language that I'd rather not repeat here. It's frankly appalling behaviour, especially considering I'm a grown man of 46; I can only imagine how upsetting this must be for someone older.

got a call from an asian lady two times within 5 mins. i told her i wasn’t interested and that i’m on the tps register, but she got quite rude on her second call. then she rang a third time and i just ended the call straight away without saying anything. feels a bit like harassment, maybe even dodgy.

I received a rather unwelcome call from an Asian lady trying to sell something dubious. I quickly informed her that I wasn't keen and that I’m registered on the Telephone Preference Service, then promptly ended the call. Just five minutes later, she rang me back. When I reiterated my disinterest in her unsolicited pitch, she lost her cool and became quite rude. I decided to hang up once more. She didn’t take the hint and called straight back, but I chose to remain silent this time and disconnected again. This is on top of a string of annoying calls I’ve had from a faceless call centre, where the operators also seemed to be of Asian descent, all trying to push a TalkTalk broadband deal on me. Total scam! It's nothing short of harassment and likely a very questionable situation. Best to steer clear of these folks.

This bloke rang up looking for me, even though I’m a woman. When my husband told him I wasn’t home, he got all weird and asked if I was good-looking. Definitely not a nice call. I’m gonna be way more cautious picking up the phone from now on.

Someone rang me saying they were from the telephone preference service and asked for my credit card details to supposedly keep the service going. Seemed dodgy to me.

For the past few weeks, this number keeps ringing an 89-year-old bloke I know. The caller, who sounds like he’s got an Indian accent, claims he can put an end to unwanted nuisance calls if the old guy makes a one-time payment. Then he starts asking for bank card info. He’s been pestering him over and over, just won’t stop ringing to get the details. Proper annoying.

They said they were from the TPS and used some info they already had to try and get my credit card details. As soon as I started asking questions, they just ended the call.

These folks seem really shady, I wouldn't be surprised if they're collecting cash for something dodgy like terrorism. Quite concerning, really.

Just got a call from 0203639321, a bloke with an Asian accent, asking if I’m still getting annoying calls. I said I am, then he wanted my new address because apparently he had my old one. I tried to tell him I’d update it online but he kept talking over me, so I kept telling him to be quiet until he hung up. Quite upsetting really. This was about twenty minutes ago.

Just had a call from some guy, sounded like he had an Indian accent, saying they were trying to block annoying calls on my phone. He went on to say he knew my name and address and even repeated them back to me. Then he started asking for my new bank info because the card they had was no good anymore. I didn't buy it and ended the call. He rang again a bit later but I just let it ring out. Cheers for trying tho!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from TPS today, they wanted to check some details and said my card was about to expire. I told them I couldn’t confirm anything since it’s my husband’s card. They said they’d wait, but when I said he wasn’t here, they actually rang back about an hour later asking specifically for him. When my son said he’d fetch him but was dragging his feet, the caller just hung up. Since then, that number has rung us two more times but we haven’t picked up.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from a telemarketing company. They asked me to confirm my bank info after I'd given my name and address. When I said no, the bloke just told me to f### off. Proper rude!

So, I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from the TPS, asking for my bank card’s expiry date and membership number. I couldn't help but chuckle and told him the membership number is just my card number. I made up a random expiry date and he actually said it was right. Hilarious!

Another dodgy number linked to scammers from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). They’ve been ringing me repeatedly over recent weeks, each time from various numbers. They always want to fish for my bank details and whatnot. I've got no time for their nonsense today, so I simply terminated the call.

Someone with a foreign accent called me, claimed they could put a stop to all these annoying telemarketing calls. They even knew my name and where I live. But as soon as I asked them to identify themselves, they just ended the call.
