Just when I thought it was over, they rang me again on 07/10/2016 but from a different number ending in 212. Seems like they switch numbers all the time. I kept quiet this time. Seriously, don’t let these scammers trick you - they’re just after robbing hard working folks and those who are more vulnerable, making easy money off the rest of us with no shame at all.

I got a call supposedly from the telephone preference service. They rattled off my address and asked me to verify if my debit card had expired. Oddly, they guessed the right year, but I never gave anything to confirm. Told them straight up I wasn’t sharing any card details. They ended the call saying I wouldn't be able to use the telephone preference service anymore. I just said that’s fine by me.

I've had these muppets ring me up four times today, and every time I pick up, they just cut off straight away. Honestly, it's getting ridiculous. If I figure out who they are, I'll give them a right good telling off.

watch out, this is definitely a scam. they ring up numbers on the tps list and pretend to check if you’re getting dodgy calls. then they try to charge you money to fix an issue they actually cause and can't really sort out. if you get called by this number, make sure you report it to the ico straight away.
