Certainly a classic case of phishing. A bloke from India was on the line, trying to fish for details about my credit card and such. I quickly ended the call. Just a heads up, it's undoubtedly a scam - he started blabbering about telephone preferences, feigning to represent them. Stay vigilant!

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent who was really abrupt, asking for my debit card info to supposedly keep my telephone preference service active. Complete joke if you ask me. I refused to give any details and she just ended the call. What freaked me out was that she already had my name, phone number, and full address. Very worrying.

They claimed to be part of a firm that stops unwanted calls and inquired if I was experiencing any bothersome calls (not counting them, naturally!). They mentioned they could help filter out these intrusive calls from reaching my device. At that point, I decided to hang up. Has anyone else encountered these chaps?
