Received a call on my home phone; it went straight to voicemail. Strangely, the caller didn't leave any identification or mention why they were ringing. Odd, isn't it?

I received a call from someone claiming to be from a directory service, saying they were updating my shop’s name and address. They identified themselves as Lorraine and then proceeded to pepper me with a barrage of questions. I informed them that I wasn’t interested and requested they not ring me again. I’ve since blocked their number!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from 118, and, to be honest, the chap asked the usual sorts of questions one might expect. He had quite a thick foreign accent that made it a bit tricky to catch everything he said, but he wasn't rude or anything like that. It was mainly information that you could easily find online if you looked.

Received a call purporting to be from 118 inquiring about our business information. They went on to use our company’s name, which is not something you’d find in the public domain. It got quite awkward when I pointed out that this felt a bit like a cold call – they seemed rather miffed by my comment!

Everyone needs to step up, and I urge you to reach out to your MP to demand that these scoundrels are dealt with appropriately. If not, there ought to be serious consequences, such as custodial sentences, for these pathetic individuals who deceive others. It's high time we put a stop to this nonsense!

Had a call from this number earlier. When I picked up, the individual on the other end simply hung up without uttering a single word. Quite peculiar, really!

I received a call from this number, but they disconnected as soon as I picked up. It leaves me suspicious that it might be some sort of scam, possibly aimed at getting me to return the call. It might be an attempt to confirm whether my number is active or, worse still, lure me into a pricey call. It just strikes me as rather pointless otherwise.
