It appears to be the 118Group. They rang me up attempting to verify some business information. Given that I'm situated at a residential location and have no knowledge of the enterprise they were inquiring about, I informed them that they’d dialled the wrong number and requested that my details be taken off their list. They were quite courteous and honestly seemed remorseful for the mix-up.

If you’re not keen on having your information out there, simply hanging up won’t do the trick—just communicate your wishes to them directly.
