I told them to stop phoning me as I’m signed up with the TPS and they shouldn’t be making unsolicited calls. The person on the other end said it wasn’t a cold call and that they got my number from a survey I supposedly took part in - which isn’t true, coz whenever they say "survey" I just hang up. Received a rather unwelcome call, quite bothersome if I must say. It was rather muffled, but after hearing it a few times, I managed to decipher something akin to "We site any claim." The woman, who introduced herself as Helen, mentioned that all conversations were recorded. She seemed to be on the lookout for individuals who might have fallen victim to mis-sold PPI, although she cleverly sidestepped the label. Strangely, she already had my details - name, address, and number - but she pressed for more personal information such as my marital status and the duration of my stay at this residence. I didn't entertain her requests and promptly hung up. I plan to report this through the 'Which?' initiative and look into blocking this number via the Telephone Preference Service website.
