I've received a fair few calls from this number, and after much hesitation, I decided to ring them back. To my surprise, my supplier ended up billing me for that call, which definitely wasn’t included in my free UK minutes. My two pence worth is to just steer clear of it entirely. Seems like there are quite a few dodgy characters associated with that line who aren't being upfront about who they really are. In the end, I’ve put a block on the number. Cheers, Peter

I always check unknown numbers before picking up. I've blocked quite a few annoying calls, but they just come back the next day with nearly the same number, just one digit off. So frustrating!

It was like listening to some recorded message from a noisy call centre. They kept asking if I was Mr... something I couldn’t make out. Every time, I just said sorry? After a while, they asked straight up if I was Mr. Time Waster.

I already sorted my PPI stuff with them, no more claims left on my end. Now they're telling me it's some new deal or whatever. I’m really not interested anymore. I’ve blocked the number but they still manage to get through somehow! Total sales call nonsense, they just won’t accept a no and keep ringing. Seriously, just stop.

I got a recorded message saying John Cleese wanted to have a word with me. Then suddenly it cut to John Cleese himself, who sounded like he was a bit desperate, rattling on about PPI and claiming ‘We tried reaching you, you may have PPI issues.’ That's a complete lie. I've put my number on the TPS list and still they bother me, so I’m actually thinking about taking legal steps against WFAC for this, plus going after John Cleese for the misleading claim. It’s clearly WFAC behind this since they’re the only ones using his voice for these calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be John Cleese, supposedly from Nuscience. I usually let it go to voicemail since they just drop a message that’s really muffled. Sounds like it’s about some kind of accident claim or something. Definitely a call I wouldn’t pick up!

Got a call about PPI asking to speak with my husband. I said he was at work but the caller kept pushing to talk to him. When I mentioned we’re on the TPS, the caller asked if I knew what that was, like he wasn’t supposed to call us at all. The bloke said my husband had completed a PPI survey, but that’s totally not true - we never had PPI. I told him no, and asked him to take our number off his list. He said he’d ring back anyway. Not likely - number's now blocked!

Just had a call from the same number so I decided to call back. It gave off vibes of one of those dodgy legal claim companies, with a message along the lines of "Thanks for getting in touch with something inaudible Any Claim. Stay on the line for the next operator". Seems a bit off to me.
