They were asking about some life insurance thing but as soon as I said I already got two, they just ended the call.

Was getting a call about PPI, so I asked why they were cold calling me. They said it was from a phone survey I’d done earlier, gave me the date and time. I do recall beginning a survey but must have been daft and gave them wrong info - guess I deserved that. Though, it wasn’t the same company this time. The only thing I said that might link to PPI was “do you have a bank account” and I said yes since that’s obvious for most. Anyway, blocked the number straight away.

Picked up once and it was the typical scripted nonsense. Told them to take my number off their list and ended the call, but they just keep ringing. All this mess started after TalkTalk let my personal info be nicked from my account, now I’m bombarded with these calls and scammers. I’ve left TalkTalk but still get hassled. Really don’t want to have to switch my number, but feels like that’s the only option now. Cheers (not) TalkTalk for messing with my privacy and peace of mind.

I was informed that my spouse had asked for a return call today-however, she was out the whole day and couldn’t have possibly made such a request. They assured me they would ring back in an hour. I requested that they refrain from calling again since we have no interest in their services. To my dismay, I got abruptly disconnected without so much as a farewell or any acknowledgment! Rude nuisances, honestly-just leave us be!

I received a rather frustrating call from a chap who couldn’t quite get my title right and butchered my surname. He subsequently addressed me by my first name, despite my clear request not to. He introduced himself as Josh and mentioned it was concerning a PPI claim. I promptly informed him that I prefer not to be contacted as we are registered with the Telephone Preference Service. He claimed that I must have opted in for this call at the conclusion of a survey he referred to, providing the specific date and time of said survey, which amusingly coincided with a day when I was at work. I reiterated my request to have my number removed from their list, emphasizing our TPS registration once more.
