They were asking about some life insurance thing but as soon as I said I already got two, they just ended the call.

Was getting a call about PPI, so I asked why they were cold calling me. They said it was from a phone survey I’d done earlier, gave me the date and time. I do recall beginning a survey but must have been daft and gave them wrong info - guess I deserved that. Though, it wasn’t the same company this time. The only thing I said that might link to PPI was “do you have a bank account” and I said yes since that’s obvious for most. Anyway, blocked the number straight away.

Picked up once and it was the typical scripted nonsense. Told them to take my number off their list and ended the call, but they just keep ringing. All this mess started after TalkTalk let my personal info be nicked from my account, now I’m bombarded with these calls and scammers. I’ve left TalkTalk but still get hassled. Really don’t want to have to switch my number, but feels like that’s the only option now. Cheers (not) TalkTalk for messing with my privacy and peace of mind.

Hello, I got a call from this number on my phone the other day, even though I’m on the TPS register. They didn’t stop pestering me though. I’ve already had all my PPI claims fully sorted, but they kept asking about my bank, any credit or store cards, mortgages or loans I might have. Honestly, this was the most pushy telemarketer I’ve ever dealt with. What they’re doing feels totally illegal and they should be shut down ASAP. They’re especially dangerous for older people who might not realise what’s going on. When I asked about their fees, they said 35% which I told them is daylight robbery and way too high. With the PPI deadline coming up, I guess these chasers are desperate to make quick money but they’re just awful. Also, they sent me a text starting with “John Cheese here” from 07860-003020 with a stop number. I’ve reported them and I’d really recommend others do the same.

So, got a call saying my missus asked for a callback today - but she’d been out the entire day so that’s a load of rubbish. They told me they’d ring back in about an hour. I told them to not bother calling again since we ain't interested. Then, just like that, they hung up on me without even a 'cheers' or 'no worries'. Proper annoying pests, honestly! Get lost!

Got calls from 01633 704019 or something really close, looks like the same lot of annoying cold callers. They've been ringing me daily, even on Saturdays and Sundays, for about a week straight. Ignoring them hasn't helped at all and once I picked up and asked them to stop, but they just kept ringing afterwards. Honestly, seems like a proper unprofessional bunch but expert scammers to me. I've signed up to TPS and made a complaint now. Let's see if it makes any difference.

This bloke totally got my title wrong and butchered my last name. Then he went on to call me by my first name, even though I told him not to. He said his name was Josh and said he was ringing about some PPI claim. I told him to stop calling because we’re on the TPS register. He claimed I must’ve agreed to the call after a survey, gave me the exact date and time of the survey, but that was when I was at work. I told him again to remove my number from their list as we’re definitely signed up with TPS.
