Got a call on 25/01/19 from someone with an Asian accent but the number looked local. They asked for me by my name and said they were calling from the TPS. Definitely a scam, just blocked it straight away.

Complete scam, these muppets kept ringing my old mum seven times in a single day! Some joker claiming to be from the TPS, threatening her her registration was about to run out. I caught the last call on tape and have let BT know, also reported it on a site that tracks these calls. TPS is totally free and doesn't expire, so it was a blatant con. What really got me, this caller was using my mum’s full name - probably nicked from the electoral roll. I've blocked the number and reported it. Don’t be fooled by their rubbish stories.

Yesterday, this number rang me three different times in just a couple of hours. It appeared as an International caller but weirdly had a Looe area code. Every single call went straight to my voicemail and no one left a message. I ended up blocking it.

This number called me twice over the past couple of days. The person on the line had an Asian accent but claimed to be from some phone management service, telling me that TPS was ending and I needed to register with them. I didn’t share any info and told them I’d get in touch with TPS myself. They quickly ended the call after that.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who kept saying I shared a name with his sister, even though he couldn’t say it right. He then said I sounded younger than I actually am, probably fishing for info, but I didn’t give him anything. He claimed they were ringing up everyone with Virgin, but I ain’t with Virgin - didn’t bother correcting him. Then he said he was from the TPS and needed my debit card expiry to verify I owned the phone number - as if! I told him to jog on, ended the call, and blocked the number straight away.

some woman called Jennifer, she kept lookin at a card while talkin about some company like TPS or something. I used to work for BT so I just told her it sounded like a scam and dropped the call. funny thing is, i saw this number hasn’t popped up in any dodgy calls for over a year now.

I've had calls from this number a couple of times today. My phone is usually on do not disturb and I let calls go to voicemail, but since I didn't get any message, I just ignored it. If I don't know the number, I never pick up, so I've decided to block it now.

Got a call from some Indian bloke, I just ignored him and ended the call. Then he rang straight back, saying I shouldn’t hang up and asked if I was getting annoying calls. I said yeah, and said his call was one of them. Later on, the same number rang again in the evening, but I didn’t pick up.

Got a call from someone with a foreign accent saying they were from the TPS. I wasn't having any of it and told them off, calling them a "lying cheating b*****d" before hanging up and blocking the number. Turns out the 01503 code is from the Looe area, nowhere near where TPS work from. I sent a complaint email to TPS, the Police, and then the cops forwarded it to Trading Standards for me.

I try to be polite and tell them to call someone back home, but they just keep on going, so I end up having to tell them in plain English where to shove it.
