Got a call earlier from someone asking for someone who doesn't live here. They started going on about the telephone preference service blah blah, so I just called them out saying this is a scam, you’re not legit at all. They ended up hanging up on me. Also, seen missed calls from 01909482074 and another one from 01275258449, probably the same scam again.

Some bloke with a strong accent rang me, talking about dealing with annoying calls, said he was from some sort of phone number preference service. He was mumbled and tricky to understand, offering to add my number to a list to block those pestering calls. Seemed a bit dodgy, but didn’t bolt when I tried the usual quick scammer busters. Felt iffy about the whole thing, so I made up some excuse and ended the call.
