Someone named Chris kept ringing me about insulation, like six times! Every time, I told him I’d already spoken to him and had nothing more to add. Then tonight, this bloke calls again but says his name’s Patrick. I pointed out that yesterday he said he was Chris, which confused him a bit. He wouldn’t stop, so I just hung up and blocked the number once more. He’s been switching up the last digits on his phone number every time. What a pain!

Just like the others said, they keep popping up with a fresh number after you’ve blocked the last one. Really annoying how they keep coming back no matter what!

Got multiple calls lately from numbers that were almost the same, just the last two digits were different. Haven't picked up any of them since I don't know who they are, and none have left a voicemail. Feels like it could be some kind of scam or maybe just a bunch of unwanted telemarketers.

Today between about 3 and 4.30 pm, I got three calls from this number. Then, later on, another Bournemouth number, 01202 143580, rang me three times between around 5 and 6 pm. I didn’t pick up any of them as I use a BT Call Blocker, so if the number’s not saved, the phone won’t even ring and the caller hears they can’t get through. Both of these numbers have now been put on my blocked list. I wouldn’t just call it annoying, I reckon it’s actually dangerous behaviour. Like someone else said - this needs to be stopped immediately.

Got a call from some guy called Chris claiming he’d do a loft insulation survey for £75, saying it might be the reason for our damp problem. He asked how old everyone in the house was (I fibbed about their ages), then wanted to know if we actually owned the place. When I said we didn’t, he just hung up. Pretty clear it was a scam.

It’s annoying and could be risky, especially for those who aren’t so sharp. I’m 75 myself, luckily still sharp as a tack. These lot phoned me twice within a fortnight. They kick off with a ‘Hello, how’s your day going?’ which is an instant red flag for me. When I told them our attic insulation was already handled by another firm, the bloke hung up straight away, probably proper cheesed off.
