Got a call from some call centre in India. They somehow knew my name and said since I’m older, I should join their Medical Help Line. I didn’t say anything to confirm it, just told the bloke off straight away!

Got a call from someone with a really strong Indian accent saying they'd add a year to my washing machine warranty. When I asked what brand it was for, they couldn’t tell me, and wouldn’t say which company they worked for either. Honestly, this feels like one of those classic SCAM calls that’s been around forever!

My dad got a call about insuring his fridge because apparently his old one had expired. He was convinced at first, but luckily the bank caught the payment before any money left his account. Poor old bloke nearly got tricked.

Some bloke from India rang me up, chatting about this thing he called a "medical life line". When I asked what the point of his call was he just told me to "buzz off". It's mad how these scammers seem to get away with it all, with no one cracking down on them. Why don't the politicians step in? They act like they've got a licence to rob, hiding behind anonymity and never facing any consequences. It's well frustrating.
