Be careful - it's defo an energy company scam. They call loads during the day and every time they ring, they tweak the last three digits of their phone number. So when you block one number, another one pops up that looks almost identical except for those final digits. It's like they keep switching numbers just to get through to you again. This keeps happening for days on end.

Got calls from various names like Chris, Tom, Craig, Simon, and Patrick linked to this number. Turns out it's connected to a Stuart Wright, born 19/01/1965. His address is 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. Looks like this guy's got a posh place worth millions and still keeps ringing up people with bogus loft insulation offers. Such a tech whizz too, probably why he's behind all these scam calls! At least now we know exactly where this con artist is based.

I’ve had non stop calls from 01202 numbers for what feels like forever. I don’t pick up but the calls just keep flooding in. The problem is the last few digits change every time, so blocking them doesn’t work. I even contacted B.T. to see if they could block by area code, and I reckon others should do the same. Maybe these annoying salespeople would give up if they had to keep switching their number that often!

They rang me up twice today even after I said I’m on the TPS list from the first call. They’re pushing spray foam roof insulation, offering a free survey but only to people over 50. When I asked about any downsides of spray foam, they just dodged the questions. Then they started saying that my rock wool loft insulation might cause issues and insisted I needed a survey. When I pressed about the risks with spray foam or why they were calling a number on the TPS, they just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now.

Here’s a handy trick: When they ring, tell them you need to pause the telly for a sec, then quickly grab your smoke alarm or CO detector (mine sits on a shelf). Come back and hit the test button right into the phone on loud. It’s brilliant! Managed to completely stun two of them just today.

So I found out that the bloke calling as Chris, Tom, Craig or Simon is actually Stuart David Wright. The number is linked to 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF with a Stuart Wright listed there. Looks like we’ve got a bit of a fraudster living in a rather large house, no surprise considering how many folks he’s been ripping off!
