So again, i got a call from some bloke saying he’s my neighbourhood energy advisor, Chris or something. Every time he rings, I just hang up straight away without even listening. Feels like a total scam to me. These calls keep coming way too often, really annoying now.

I got a call about loft insulation but when I asked for a number to ring back, they just wouldn’t give one. If it was legit, surely they’d be able to have a proper chat and say who they are right from the start? Feels like a total scam to me. If it’s not, then honestly, that company shouldn’t even be operating. Had a very similar call from 01202137126 doing the exact same thing about six months back.

I’m well aware not to pick up calls from 0120 numbers, but they keep ringing me up every couple of days using my number. It’s impossible to block them since the number changes just a little each time. Honestly, feels like this is never gonna end. I've been getting calls from this bloke 'Chris' claiming to be an energy advisor, but he never drops the scammy tone. Not sure who this number belongs to or anyone from Bournemouth area. The caller didn’t leave any message on our voicemail, so we just assumed it was some kind of scam. Even though our phone number is on the TPS list, we keep getting these annoying calls. That’s why we always keep our landline on answerphone mode.

I’ve had around 20 calls in the past month and a half from a similar number, always changing the last three digits a bit. Never picked up any of them since none left a message. Easy enough to just bin ’em. Every time I got a call from the 01202 area, I told them "your call can’t be taken" so they could tell me who they were or why they were calling. I received a rather peculiar call on my landline from a chap identifying himself as 'Tom.' He informed me that my residence was listed on a database pertaining to homes with inadequate insulation. Quite amusing, considering I’m renting and have no say in the insulation matters whatsoever! I attempted to engage him in conversation, yet he seemed hell-bent on sticking to his script. When I finally managed to interject and inquired about his affiliation, he stated he was representing the 'Green Eco Centre.' This reeks of dodgy spam marketing at the very least, and it could very well be a scam given the blatant misinformation. It certainly feels more like the latter, given the preceding fabrications!

I received three calls from this number over the span of just a week. During one conversation, I inquired how he managed to pop up in my loft to check on the insulation. He abruptly ended the call! 😆 In another instance, I questioned whether he had trespassed into my home to have a look in my loft, and once more, he hung up on me. Quite the character, isn't he?

So this guy named Chris from the local energy company rang me up, saying they had a “free” loft insulation check thing that lasts a year.
