I’ve received two phone calls on my landline here in Tamworth, Staffordshire, from the same individual. The first time he reached out, he used a Bournemouth number. That was just a couple of days back. When I inquired how he obtained my contact details, he dodged the question completely and continued to push his agenda regarding loft insulation and a complimentary survey to check what type of insulation I had. I found him rather bothersome and informed him that I’d be hanging up. Fast forward to today and he’s back, calling from 01202143192. I could instantly recognise it was him, as he launched into his rehearsed spiel with an educated accent. I interrupted him and asserted that I was well aware this was a scam. I also mentioned that I had reported him on a fraud website- which I actually did!

Rather overbearing, if you ask me. I enquired about fibreglass loft insulation and any potential issues with condensation. When I mentioned I’d already looked into it and that the loft has adequate ventilation, I didn’t anticipate any concerns. To my surprise, he abruptly hung up without a single word! This phone number is linked to 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF, associated with the name Stuart Wright. At least we’ve unearthed the residence of this con artist! It’s no surprise he resides in such a lavish abode; he’s clearly profiting from his deceitful antics!

I've received a couple of phone calls now stating that my residence features outdated loft insulation. Quite curious, considering I'm in a flat with another one above me-no loft to speak of, let alone any insulation! This feels like a classic scam to me; surely the caller would have corrected their information after the initial attempt.
