As others have rightly pointed out, the individual orchestrating this loft con is none other than Stuart Wright, residing at 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green in Birmingham. It appears that all the numbers linked to this operation are registered under his name and address. It's hardly surprising that he enjoys the comforts of such an impressive home, considering the number of people he's duped over time!

The call kicked off with someone saying they were Chris from the local energy company. I told them straight away our number is unlisted and I’ve already explained before that there’s nothing they can offer - we’ve got double glazing, cavity wall insulation, new loft insulation and solar panels sorted. I mentioned I’d be reporting this to TPS and Ofcom, then of course they just hung up. Bit fed up now since I got pretty much the same call from 01202 143161 around two days ago!
