Today I got a few calls from numbers that looked almost the same - pretty sure it's the same scam outfit behind them. Earlier this week I had to block a handful of nearly identical numbers too. Feels like they’re burning time more than I am, honestly. I just let them ring off to voicemail and never bother answering, then the calls just stop. He kept going on about how rubbish our insulation was, even though he obviously had no clue. Then he started asking how old I was, and I just told him I didn’t want to answer any more questions. Next thing, he just hung up on me.

Thing is, the number showed up as Bournemouth, which is miles away from where I actually live. I hung up straight away and blocked the caller. yesterday i got a call from tom who said my loft insulation was outdated and might cause dampness. i calmly told him i hadn’t noticed any issues and ended the call nicely. then, out of nowhere, chris rings me saying the same thing about my insulation being old. i cut him off quickly, said i wasn’t looking to buy anything, and wished him a good day.

I’ve had this automated call come through a few times already. Whenever I try asking anything, it just gives the same robotic replies over and over until it eventually cuts out. Heads up - this spray foam stuff can seriously mess up your roof. Just google “Spray Foam Roof Insulation Issues” if you want to see what kind of problems people are facing. Apparently, some mortgage lenders won’t touch homes with this stuff on because it can ruin the roof’s integrity!

Got a call from some pushy sales bloke going on about how rubbish my loft insulation is and how they can do a free check in my area and all that nonsense. Honestly, who lets these muppets loose? When I managed to say that my loft’s been converted, he just went “oh, sorry” and put the phone down. Apparently, the number belongs to a bloke called Stuart Wright from 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. So now we know exactly where this 'Stuart' scammer hangs out! It's no surprise he’s got a pretty decent sized house, considering all the folks he’s been ripping off!

He wanted to know if I owned the house, but when I asked where he found my phone number, he just cut off the call.
