These pests clearly disregard the Telephone Preference Service registration. Every time I pick up, it cuts straight to voicemail, and then they hang up, typical behaviour. They're constantly using different numbers from Bournemouth, simply tinkering with the last three digits to slip past call blockers. This morning, I was contacted by this number. A rather presumptuous chap claimed to represent a Green Energy Company, ostensibly calling regarding loft insulation in my home. He mentioned potential issues like dampness and mould, asserting that their team had been surveying other properties in the vicinity. Before he could continue his spiel, I inquired about how he had obtained my number. He insisted it was sourced from a Household Insulation Database to which they possessed access. I firmly requested the removal of my information from said database, as I had never given permission for my details to be shared in such a manner. Furthermore, I made it clear that if they persisted in calling, I would not hesitate to contact Oftel to lodge a formal complaint. His response? A rather childish “No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No,” followed by him abruptly ending the call! Quite the creative comeback - not! And truly quite impolite.
