I got a call from 01202137131, and it sounded just like a scam I’ve read about here before. The caller claimed my home was on a list of houses in my neighbourhood with old insulation that supposedly causes condensation problems. He offered a free loft check, saying lots of others in the area had already had theirs done. According to him, they could replace the insulation with a new kind that stops condensation and saves about 20% more on heating. During the call, he kept mentioning words like “Government” and “Green Eco” to sound more legit, but when I asked for actual reports proving fibre glass or older insulation was faulty, he didn’t have any. He just kept saying he was calling on behalf of his boss who’d provide the details. Once I called it a scam marketing call, he quickly hung up!
