Like a lot of others have said, I’ve been getting nonstop calls. I got about five calls just yesterday and a few the day before that. The caller knew my name and where I live straight away on the first call, which was freaky. Then they started asking for my credit card expiry date. I told the person, who sounded Indian, that I wasn’t going to give out that info. Even after that, the calls haven’t stopped at all.

I got a call supposedly from BT TPS, sounded legit at first but then the bloke asked me to verify my address. After that, he wanted to know if my debit card had expired and asked for the details. I told him off because the service should be free! He then got quite rude and aggressive, so I told him I was hanging up. Definitely a scam judging by the previous calls I’ve had. It’s mad that the police haven’t done anything yet, this number’s been causing trouble for ages!

Got a call from some bloke abroad who ringed my mother in law, tryin to get her bank card info sayin it was to upgrade some call blocking thing she doesn’t even have. She’s not the best with phones so she come round next door to me with the phone. I told the guy straight up he wasn’t getting anything and that he was a scammer, then he just hung up. I’ve blocked his number now so she won’t get bothered by him again.

He claimed to be from some Telephone Management or whatever and started going on about blocking calls. I told him to take me off their list because he was harassing me and that’s illegal. She claimed I'd somehow been unsubscribed from the telephone preference service by mistake and said she’d sort it for me. She actually read out my last name and address right away and asked me to verify them, then tried to get me to give my first name too. That’s when I got a bit wary, acted like I didn’t catch her, and ended the call. She called back straight away, really pushy about my first name, so I just hung up again and checked the number.
