If it was genuinely important, they’d have left missed calls or voicemail, or sent an email or letter explaining what it’s about. Plus, the message didn’t even say who it was from. So, no way I’m calling that number.

These annoying people have called me three times within two days. At first, I thought it might be something important from my insurance company since my husband died just a few days ago. Got a text telling me there's some important info and that they've been trying to get hold of me all day. They asked me to ring this number and give a reference code they sent. Strange thing is, I haven’t had any missed calls or anything. I phoned the number but the lady on the line mumbled loads and then put me through to someone who just played music on repeat.
