Got a call from some bloke pretending to be HMRC, saying I owed £4000 in back taxes. He sounded really sure of himself and even said court action was already underway. He told me I had to send the money to an escrow account right away to sort it out. Thankfully, I cottoned on that it was a classic scam. Beware of these fraudsters, don’t fall for their lies!
