Got a call supposedly from Inland Revenue, someone named Denis Grey but the voice was definitely a woman! The caller was really pushy, telling me to ring them back or get my solicitor on the line. Checked the number and it’s not linked to Inland Revenue at all. Plus, HMRC never phones out of the blue - they always send letters first and these days it’s called HM Revenue & Customs, not Inland Revenue. Seems dodgy to me, wouldn’t trust this caller one bit.
