Had this happen to me recently, got charged £33 for a 1.5 hour call! They basically ring you so it shows up as a missed call on your iPhone. What got me was that on the iPhone you can slide to call back without even unlocking it. So if it’s in your pocket, it’s easy to accidentally ring them back! Luckily, you can turn this off in the iPhone settings though.

Just got my EE phone bill and it says I was charged £24.47 for calls to this number for 59:13 mins. The thing is, I never rang this number! These calls showed up twice on my wife's phone statement, each lasting about two hours, and she definitely didnt make them. It ended up costing us £94. I contacted EE and Ofcom, and they reckon it’s some kind of scam since loads of others have the same issue, but so far no refund. The numbers are almost the same, just the last three digits differ.

This number has rung me loads, but today was the first occasion I actually had my phone nearby, so instead of it just being a missed call, I managed to reject it and got a voicemail from them for the first time. Watch out if you've got a text alert for voicemails, cos I got a quick message resembling a voicemail alert that said to click "here" to listen to the message. The number sending the text was different from the one I called and probably tries to charge a fortune. When I checked, the voicemail was just 9 seconds of dead silence.

Typical PPI nuisance calls. Just a heads up, the robot voice dont say "watch out", it actually says "opt out", you're just hearing the tail end of it - like "Press 5 to opt out". Ive had this number blocked for ages and they still buzz me up like every couple of days.
