Got a call saying it was really urgent from Santander and that I had to respond straight away. I rang my local branch just to check and they told me to just ignore it.

My landline rang and it was one of those automated messages claiming my IP address was at risk. They wanted me to hit '1' to fix the problem, but I didn’t bite, I just hung up straight away. Knew it was dodgy so I blocked the number and activated call blocking to be safe.

Last night, there was an attempt to withdraw cash from my daughter's Santander account. Then this morning, this same number rang her up four times. She was tied up, so she didn’t pick up, but we decided to look up the number and ended up on this site - turns out loads of people are spotting this is a total scam.

I've had quite the strange experience lately! A robotic voice keeps ringing me up, searching for someone who clearly doesn't reside at my address. They claim to be from the fraud department of Santander, but it’s all rather dubious, especially since I don’t even bank with them. The automated system prompts you to press any key to carry on, but since I'm using a rotary phone, that's a bit of a tall order! It feels rather like a scam, and what’s more, this automated nuisance just won’t take a hint. Quite tiresome, really!

I got a call asking about my son and his Santander account. The caller gave a number to ring back, then mentioned some 3-digit code. It felt dodgy, especially since there’s nothing showing up on his online account about any issues. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Absolutely genuine! I had a situation with my old card being compromised in a dodgy scam. They promptly issued me a replacement. On the very day I activated the new card, I popped into a shop for a purchase, and SANTANDER flagged it as potentially fraudulent. I received a call from this number-an automated voice, mind you-checking if it was indeed me attempting the transaction, just to ensure everything was secure.

Yesterday, I got a robo call from this number which sounded quite convincing. They asked me to ring back with extra digits at the start, but I didn’t bother. After ending the call, I noticed I’d lost my dial tone. This morning, I got in touch with Santander’s fraud department, who confirmed it wasn’t their doing. The same number rang me again today, but I didn’t pick up. As I’m typing this, they’ve called once more.

Got a text supposedly from Santander saying my card was used on 05-06-2018 for £1 at a place called LAZYGAME. They asked me to reply Y if it was me or N if I didn’t recognise it. I texted back N. Then, a call came through showing Santander on caller ID. I picked up, they asked if I was me, I said yes, then they put me on hold for like 10 minutes. After that, I just hung up because it was all a bit confusing and didn’t feel right.

I received a rather dubious phone call from this number not long ago. The caller pretended to be from Santander and instructed me to ring back and input a three-digit code. Given that I’d already spoken to Santander earlier the same day, I took the precaution of contacting them directly to verify the authenticity of the call. After checking their records, they assured me that there had been no communication from their end, confirming that it was indeed a scam. Best to stay vigilant!

I received what seemed like a communication from Santander. I had made a transaction on what I presumed was a legitimate jewellery website. They informed me that the payment hadn't processed, which I found odd because it had. Shortly after, I got a text prompting me to confirm whether I recognised several transactions. Most of them were familiar to me-save for one, purportedly linked to that jewellery retailer.
