My wife got a call from this number about some suspicious stuff going on with our Santander account. We rang the number on the back of her card to check, and they said yes, they're the ones trying to reach her about it.

Got a robo call from this number right after I made a big bank transfer. I rang up Santander to make sure it was legit. Turns out it was a real number and just a extra security step since the transfer was for investing. The money only went through once I gave the go-ahead. My advice: if you ever get a call like this and feel uncertain, always double-check by phoning your bank using the number on your statement.

It's actually the Santander fraud team calling, so don't pay any mind to those people trying to scare you by saying it's not them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Santander’s fraud team, and they even used my full name which was creepy. I rang Santander through the number on my bank card to check and they had no clue about that phone number. If you get calls like this, definitely use the number on the back of your card to double-check before trusting anything.

I double checked with Santander and they told me this number is really theirs, it’s the legit Santander fraud team.

This number rang me a few times, 3 missed calls and one I actually picked up. The person said they were from Santander, warning me about some fraud on my account. I didn’t do what they told me straight away. Instead, I looked up the number on this site and then got in touch with Santander myself. It was legit, turns out there was some dodgy activity going on with my account. Thankfully, they’d already put a stop to it and sent me a new card after that.

Got two voicemail messages from this number in less than an hour, saying they were from Santander's fraud team. They actually knew the person’s name they were trying to reach and left a code for them to call back with. Felt really suspicious to me, so I'd say don’t answer or press any buttons if you get one of these calls.

In the space of an hour, I’ve had two calls from this number. They left a voicemail claiming to be from Santander about some fraud. It sounds dodgy to me since they told me to ring them back along with a code they mentioned in the message. Feels like a scam for sure.

Received a couple of messages from Santander, and then I got a call from them shortly after.

Got a dodgy automated call claiming to be from Santander’s fraud dept, said it was about some recent charges on my debit card and even used my name. The robot voice asked me to verify my birthdate by pressing numbers on the keypad, like "press 1 if your birthday is 2/6/1954" and so on. It sounded proper legit, they even said my real date of birth! I hung up straight away, didn’t fancy giving anything away. Really convincing trick, watch out for these scams!

We got a message on our home phone from 0800 6406140, someone called Christian from what they claimed was Santander's fraud team. They left a callback number and mentioned a one-time passcode. They also warned that if you ever share your PIN with anyone, you could be held liable for any suspicious transactions. We haven’t returned the call but plan to pop into the bank later today to verify if it was legit.
