Hi all, just wanted to share that in mid January 2023, they're still ringing non stop, even though the original calls started back in 2019 (about 4 years ago). Honestly, it's so frustrating - why don’t they just find real work like everyone else? Drives me mad! 😡🤬

I’ve had to block this number on my phone, but I looked it up here to make sure it’s worth blacklisting. Turns out it definitely is. These scammers are annoyingly persistent! Thought about picking up just to tell them to stop their nonsense and find a legit job instead of all this lying and stealing, but still haven’t worked up the nerve to do it. Cheers to everyone sharing warnings here!

This number just won't stop ringing, no matter what blocking apps I use. I've had to add it to my contacts and labelled it 'scammers' so I remember. Feel free to call it whatever you reckon suits it. They've been at it for more than three weeks now, so don't hold your breath for them to quit. Honestly, you should report this to Action Fraud and put it on the telephone preference service, or wherever you can, just to be safe.

I told the person calling from some investigation I wasn’t interested and he snapped back with “how do you know you’re not f###ing interested, I haven’t even explained what it’s about.” I said there was a possible fraud alert on my phone, and he just laughed saying “potential fraud on your phone? That’s just s###.” I told him to get lost and hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone abroad asking for Nicola. When I inquired who was calling, they just said Nicola again. Tried to get a last name out of them but was told there's only Nicola on the record! This is the fifth different mobile number in as many days with the same rubbish. Blocked every single one now!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Nick from an investigation team. When I asked for a contact number and website to check, he just hung up on me. Pretty obvious scam, sounded like he was Indian or something. Best to stay clear.

Been getting loads of calls daily from people saying they’re from some Government dept about debts. Tried to get the name of the company but they just wouldn’t say. Rang multiple times a day, super annoying. Luckily, after seeing what others said, I blocked them - cheers for the heads up!

Got two calls from this number today. When I picked up, the bloke used a nickname I’m known by, not my real name. Asked him about it and he just called me stupid and a b###. Ended up blocking the number. Honestly, these muppets should find proper jobs instead of hassling honest folks with scams.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the FCA, asking all sorts about my debts. I challenged her since she didn't seem to have a clue. At one point, I mentioned having life insurance with Legal & General, but she couldn't even get the details right. When I asked why she needed all that info, she just got nasty. Best to just avoid these kinds of calls altogether.

I just got a call from this number claiming to be from the Citizen Advice Bureau’s Fraud Investigation Team. Sounded like a scam to me, and the caller had an accent that seemed like it could be from Pakistan. Definitely hanging up and blocking them now. Another scammer trying to fool folks, it seems.

Got a call from someone who was nosy about my info but refused to say who he was. He actually assumed I was a woman and seemed shocked when he realised I wasn’t. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from some credit check dept and it was this guy with an accent. He didn’t seem too happy when I got a bit wary and just hung up on me pretty fast. Tried ringing them back to give them a piece of my mind but the call wouldn’t connect, looked like they’d blocked me or something.

I got a call from a woman who said she was from some credit investigation team, claiming I owed money - which I really don’t. Sounded dodgy, so I looked up ‘credit investigation team’ and the number she rang from (it’s listed above). I told her to wait a moment while I sorted something out, and she waited without fuss. Then I told her the number was suspicious and probably a scam. She replied, “oh my god, hang up. Don’t answer if it rings again.”

I recently had a rather harrowing experience with a caller who was not only aggressive but quite menacing as well. Honestly, it's alarming to think what they could do to someone who's more easily scared. They went so far as to threaten that men would arrive at my doorstep within a couple of hours regarding a debt that doesn't even exist! It’s outrageous how these scoundrels can operate with such impunity. I truly believe the police should investigate this. How on earth do they manage to evade the authorities?

Some muppet rang me up pretending to be a scammer. He was asking for "Josh," but that's not even me, haha. When I asked what he wanted, he just snapped, "F Off Josh," and hung up. Honestly, you just have to laugh at their cheek - they’ll go to any lengths!

I just got a call from this number, and when I said I was busy at work and couldn’t chat, the bloke rudely told me to F off. Honestly, that’s so rude, completely out of order. A bloke called saying he was from the “help desk at citizen’s advice” or something like that. Not sure if he was legit, but when I asked what the call was about, he just told me to buzz off and hung up. Kinda funny to me, but I guess some folks might find it rude, so probably best to just ignore the call if you get it - sounds like a total scam.
