They told me there'd been a credit check done using my details and they wanted to assist with sorting out some unpaid debts because apparently my lenders had complained about missed payments. But I've got no debt issues, everything gets paid on time every month! When I mentioned this, the bloke just said "Alright then, carry on as you are".

Watch out for these dodgy debt management scammers, they're tied up with all sorts of shady criminal gangs. They've probably got most of your personal info already - their goal is to get your bank details so they can clear your account out. Just blocking their number won’t fix anything! Please make sure you report them to ACTION FRAUD on 0300 123 2040 or check out their site for how to do it. If you want these nasty criminals caught and dealt with, take action now. Don’t just ignore the problem and hope it goes away.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent claiming he was calling about my debt. When I said it was a cold call, he just kept insisting it was about money I owed. I told him I didn’t owe anything and then he just ended the call. Classic scam attempt.

Just got a call on my wife's phone from someone saying they're with UK Power. The worrying bit is they asked for me since I supposedly hold the account. The only place that info should be is with O2. Looks like either they've leaked info or there's been a hack. I've reported it to O2 and blocked the number straight away.
