I cut the call pretty quickly after that since I bank with Lloyds myself, and I’m aware they wouldn’t handle payments like that over the phone. He went on about how there had been an attempt to use my banking info for a transaction exceeding £400. He was spouting all sorts of technical terms and assured me that an internal investigation would take place to identify the culprits, or something along those lines.
