Have a look at the back of your Lloyds Bank credit card, you might spot this number there. Watch out though, as scammers are known to mimic this number. If you get a call from your bank out of the blue from any number, just hang up straight away, then make sure your phone line is clear before ringing your bank yourself to confirm if it was them. Use the number on your card or dial 159. It’s a big issue with fraudsters pretending to be from legit banks or building societies. Stay alert!

SCAM ALERT!! I got a call from what looked like Lloyds customer support, but it was actually a scammer faking the number. They claimed there'd been suspicious activity on my credit card and said I must cancel it so they could send out a replacement. They already had all my details - name, address, email, even the card number. Then they asked for my credit limit, which seemed odd. Their trick was to get me to share a code they said was for activating the new card, but it was actually to approve a dodgy transaction. Watch out!

The number's actually on the back of a Lloyds Bank credit card. It's their customer support line for sure.

Like a few others have pointed out, this is definitely a scam. The phone number looks a lot like Lloyds' fraud department. The message itself doesn’t even mention my name, it just says something like, "Your credit card ending **** has been sent. If you haven't got it yet, it should be with you shortly. If it doesn’t arrive within a few days, please ring us on 0345606****." The thing is, my card isn’t anywhere near expiring.

Total scam! The number they told me to ring was just a single digit off from the real Lloyds fraud line. Looks like they’ve picked a number super close to the genuine Lloyds bank one. They started quizzing me about my credit card and said to get in touch if I hadn’t checked my account yet. I tried texting back, but even that was blocked - not even a reply! Proper dodgy behaviour.

I got a text claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, it even used the last 4 digits of my credit card. They wanted me to ring a number if my new card hadn't come yet, even though I’m not meant to get one for ages. Sounds fishy to me, like a classic scam trying to get your bank details. Watch out!

Got a call telling me a new credit card was being sent and to give them a ring if it didn’t show up. Felt like a scam to try and get my personal info. Didn’t trust it one bit.

Got a message saying it was from Lloyd's Bank telling me a new card had been sent and to ring a premium line. No one here even has an account with Lloyd's. Pretty sure it’s just a phishing scam or spam.

Got a text about my card ending in the last 4 digits, said a new card was sent out and to ring that number if I didn’t get it. My card is meant to expire in three months anyway and I hardly ever use it so I’ve just frozen it for now.

Got a text claiming my credit card’s been dispatched, telling me to call a number if it doesn’t arrive. They even included the last four digits of my card, which raised my suspicions since my card’s still valid for a couple more months. I’m steering clear of the number they gave. If you decide to call, just be careful about what details you share, even if they sound legit.

Received a message saying my credit card was being sent to me! I’d already cancelled it though, then I got another text saying a new one was on its way and to call the same phone number! Been trying to get through to Lloyds. Lucky I don’t have much cash, or they’d have a field day!

i got a call from this number and it turned out to be lloyds bank’s new contact number. they weren't trying to scam me or get any details, just checking on a credit card i received recently. even though its a different number, it’s legit lloyds. still, i'd recommend double checking on their official site just to be on the safe side.
