Beware, this is definitely a scammer. They called claiming there was some strange transaction on our bank account, which was suspicious since we'd checked it just a few hours before. When I questioned them, they blamed a poor connection and then just hung up. We've alerted the bank and had our debit card blocked now.

Beware of this fraudster! They reached out claiming there was some strange transaction on our bank statement. Funny enough, we had just checked our account a mere couple of hours prior. When I called them out on it, the bloke said the line was dodgy and promptly hung up. I've flagged this with the bank and had them cancel my debit card right away. Stay vigilant!
