Phone number ☎️ 03453511685 👆 is reported as a number associated with both genuine and scam calls concerning fraud prevention for Lloyds and Halifax banks. Many users confirm receiving automated calls about suspicious card activity that, when verified independently via official bank contact details, prove legitimate and assist in preventing theft. However, multiple reports reveal callers spoofing this number or phishing attempts targeting personal and banking information. Common advice from experienced users and official sources is to never respond directly to calls or texts from this number but always verify by contacting your bank using the number on the back of your card or official websites. Vigilance is essential; suspicious calls should be reported to Action Fraud, and personal details should never be disclosed to unsolicited callers.

For me, this call seemed perfectly legit - it was actually Lloyds Car Insurance checking in on a claim I made. Maybe the problems others have had are with fake or spoofed numbers? Just my guess!

Got a call at work from someone saying they were from the Fraud Prevention team. (02039096735) I had a feeling it was dodgy, but since it was super quiet on their end, I decided to fire off a bunch of pointless questions just to drag things out. When I tried calling them back, a recorded message told me their number had switched to 03453511685. That’s how I ended up finding this site. They just won’t give up - I’m getting knocked about 8 calls daily. Properly unpleasant folks. Don’t let them trick you!

Somebody pretending to be from the TSB fraud department called me on both my landline and mobile, ringing three times early on a Saturday morning. They left a voicemail with a 4-digit code and told me to ring them back. I ended up contacting the real TSB fraud team, who told me there wasn’t anything dodgy going on and said the number wasn’t theirs. I’ve reported it to TSB and ActionFraud now.

Got a call from Lloyds fraud team. Ended the call straight away cos my bank’s never rang me before. I’d just had a text about dodgy stuff on my card. Rang the number on the back of my card and they said it was legit.

Got an automated call from this number thrice in a really short time. Contacted my bank to double check and it turns out this isn’t a Lloyd’s number at all - definitely a scam.

This number really belongs to the fraud team at Halifax, but someone mentioned in a post from 1st October that it could be faked. When I got a call, like all legit ones, they clearly said they wouldn’t ask for any bank info, and they didn’t. They actually told me what the issue was. Just remember to NEVER share any of your banking details, and you should be alright.

Got a proper call from the fraud team at Lloyds/Halifax. I’d made a weird purchase online with my debit card and they spotted it right away as suspicious. They even gave a real number to ring back on. I’m not sure why some folks reckon it was a con.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Lloyds bank. When I chatted with the fraud department, they weren’t really sure about the number. Best thing is don’t reply straight away, just say thanks, that you need to look over your statements and will ring back. Then call your bank’s official number to make sure it’s legit.

Genuine automated call from Lloyds Bank because I didn’t reply to their previous text about a request for an online payment.

Got a proper automated call from Lloyds fraud dept. They asked me to verify some info and clearly knew my stuff. Anyone here saying it’s legit isn’t a scammer, but if the questions they ask feel off, just hang up and ring your bank using the phone number on their official site. Better safe than sorry.

They kept ringing me like crazy, about 15 times in a single day, so in the end I just blocked the number. Why does no one stop this? Phone companies should be able to tell who’s behind these and slap them with huge fines. Proper pain in the neck these callers are.

Got a call from this number, an automated voice saying there was some strange activity on my account. It even mentioned the amount spent and the shop. Sounds like a proper fraud team. Kudos to Lloyds!

I WORK AT A CAB FIRM AND THEY TOLD ME MY RYLANDS ACCOUNT WAS HACKED. BIT ODD SINCE THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHERE I WORK AND ANY OF THE OTHER 3 COLLEAGUES MIGHT'VE PICKED UP THE PHONE. TOTALLY A SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.

Totally a rip off. I called the 24/7 banking helpline on my Halifax card and they said it was fraudsters pretending to be Halifax. They’d already sent me a dodgy text before phoning. Best to just ignore and never give out any info.

Got a call from 03453511685 today, claimed to be Lloyds Visa saying £600 was withdrawn from my account. Not true at all, phoned my bank and everything was fine. Be careful, always double check with your bank first.

Got a call that felt like a scam, which I was told to expect after getting a few texts claiming to be from Halifax. I ignored the texts and rang Halifax myself using a different phone, calling the numbers on their official website. They told me there was nothing suspicious on my account! Just a heads up everyone, if you’re unsure, best not to pick up but always double check with your bank using the contact details on your card or official site.

Totally real Halifax fraud number. I got a text saying there was suspicious activity on my account, and if it wasn’t me I should reply NO. I did reply and was quickly rung by this number, then made a fraud claim through them. Later on I rang Halifax using the mobile banking app just to be sure, and they confirmed it was them and that the claim was logged at the right time.

This wasnt a scam, it was actually a real number from the Lloyds Fraud Dept. I’d done a payment that Lloyds found suspicious. Good on them for staying on it.

For me, it was an authentic call from Lloyds Fraud department, but because it was automated, it felt very dodgy. Big thanks to whoever on 14.08.19 recommended ringing the number on the back of the card. I followed that advice and managed to clear up the worrying confusion. Judging by the comments here, it seems these calls are often scams, so if you bank with Lloyds, the safest bet is to contact the bank yourself to verify. If you don’t, just assume it’s a scam.

Lloyd’s Bank - definitely not a scam. I rang the number on the back of my card to check and they told me about some suspicious transactions they’d spotted and put on hold. They were really helpful and my replacement card showed up in just two days.

I've received three calls from this number so far, and it's rather concerning. I reached out to Lloyd’s, and they confirmed they don’t make such calls, although they did mention they send texts occasionally. I've double-checked my account, and everything seems perfectly fine. It appears this scammer is cleverly using an authentic number to deceive people. Definitely avoid calling back! If you’re unsure, it’s best to contact your bank through the number you find on your card. If there’s a real problem, they’ll help sort it out for you.

Got two calls from this number today. I didn’t pick up cause my phone showed “possible scam” on the screen. Tried ringing back from my landline but hid my number. A robot woman said it was Lloyds fraud team and that my card was used without permission. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds!

This number is linked to Lloyds Bank. I rang their help line via their official site just to be sure, and they confirmed it’s legit. That said, scammers might dial from a different number but show this one on your caller ID. So, it’s best to always double check who you’re talking to by contacting the company yourself directly.

Scammers now can fake real company phone numbers, so watch out. NEVER share personal info with someone who calls out of the blue, it’s most likely a scam. If your bank rings you, don’t just ignore it because it might be important and your account could have an issue. Make sure your line is free and then ring them back using the number on your official documents. If it turns out to be a dodgy call, report it to 'Action Fraud'. Take care everyone!

Be wary, folks! This whole thing reeks of a scam. Those glowing reviews? They’ve likely been penned by the very con artists trying to fool us. They’re aware that folks like us are doing our homework and will seek out opinions. If you're feeling a bit uncertain, I highly suggest giving Lloyds a bell using the contact number listed on their official site. Oh, and watch out for the number 02036089538, which is also lurking under the guise of 00442036089538. Just a heads up!

This is a legit Lloyds number - my card actually got declined shortly before, and I received the same alert on my home phone along with texts from the bank asking me to reply "Yes" or "No" to confirm, without pushing the payment through or demanding any personal details right away. This call is legit, coming from Lloyds or Halifax as part of their fraud alert team. Best thing is to ring the number on their website or the back of your card to check. If they’ve phoned or messaged you, it’s due to some odd activity on your account that you need to sort out - either to confirm it was you or spot if it’s fraud. Anyone saying it’s a scam ‘cos they can't tell if it’s Lloyds or Halifax probably doesn’t know much about banking. Halifax went bust a few years back, and Lloyds took over most of their consumer stuff but kept the Halifax name.
