They try to get hold of your personal info and bank details. Never ever give out any of your stuff!! They asked me for my name, birthday and who I use for my utilities. I was silly and told them everything. A few days later, these con artists rang again, pretending to be from my gas company!! Said they had a cheaper deal for me. It felt so real coz they already knew loads about me!! I was just about to pay a bit over the phone when I suddenly remembered the first call, so I said hang on a sec!!! The man on the line, who sounded Indian, got really angry! Watch out, everyone!

A lady with an Indian accent rang me recently, but I didn’t answer. Later I phoned back and it felt dodgy, so I ended the call. They rang me about 3 more times after that. Today another number, also saying they were from three, called me too. Every time it flagged up as potential fraud, and I reckon it’s the same woman each time. Even when I called them, the voicemail was the same nonsense about some fake "exclusive customer deal" and something about calling me earlier that day. Best not to answer or return these calls. Probably a scam, so just avoid it.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up, and no message was left! My phone showed it was from a firm named eTorro (UK) Ltd, based at 42 One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E145AB, which apparently deals with social trading and acts as a global broker. Needless to say, I’ve already blocked this number straight away.

Somebody said they were from 3 and offered a free Samsung phone along with my usual plan. I mentioned how I’m wary of spammers and scammers, and she told me to just pop into one of their shops and ask. Then she just ended the call.

So it was these 3 marketing calls that kept coming through. I just called them back, got some automated message, then pressed 2 to remove my number, followed by pressing 1 twice to confirm it. Sorted! Haven’t had a single call since.
